The Awesome Zalora Experience of a Cyborg

By on May 20, 2012

Zalora Philippines is the latest craze in town. It’s the next big thing in the e-commerce in the country’s webosphere. Indeed, this online store has a lot to offer to the people of different generations, from men’s wear, women’s wear, kid’s wear and even accessories that suits your lifestyle, everything you crave about fashion is right after your fingertips.

And so, with the advance birthday gift I have received from Zalora Philippines themselves which I got after the said company’s Grand Launch at the Skye, W Building, Bonifacio High Street, I must say, I will grab the opportunity and not miss this chance to grab some awesome cool men’s stuff for myself on the site.

During the 16th of May, 2012, with all the money I got given to me by my aunt and my mom during my 18th birthday last 14th, I decided to spend this on Zalora and try to eliminate some of the items I have on my created wishlist by means of purchasing some of these.

The stuff I ordered first was the classy looking Men’s Desert Boots from Wade which costs for about Php 1539.30, previously costs for about Php 2199.00. Thank God it was a part of the Grand Zalora sale which occurred during that time, and with the demand for this pair of shoes, I ordered it immediately because a notification popped on the page which tells me that there is only one stock left for my size – Size 11 (USA) – I panicked, seriously (LOL).

And then, this was followed by three more items such as the Blue Striking Sporty Watch from Tomato, which costs for about Php550.00, The Collective.com shorts which costs for about Php346.50 (Previously Php495.00) and my favorite, the Cyan colored Qito shirt, which is priced at Php399.00. I liked it because of this color, that’s why. Oh, when I purchased this online, I saw the 1 stock left notification again, then you know the story again, afterwards – I  P A N I C K E D (LOL)

And there, I proceeded to the checkout counter and paid all my damages. I expected to get the item two days after the date I have purchased the goods. However, I received an email about the status of my purchased items which tells me that provincial items may be shipped within 7 days due to some delays since Zalora’s warehouse is currently being relocated that time. Well its fine for me, I can wait really.

However, two days after, which happened earlier (20th of May 2012) when I am still having some works with my fellow Microsoft Student Partners at the Microsoft Philippines, I received a phone call from my dad that the package from Zalora Philippines has arrived – I was shocked to hear this news since I’m expecting that I’ll be receiving the items next week, and I was happy regarding its unexpected early arrival.

Well of course, as a first time buyer at Zalora Philippines, I was so excited to go home, so when I got home by 10:00 in the evening, I’ve seen two big Zalora Philippines Boxes, contained is the things I have purchased at Zalora. Its so amazing to see how Zalora packs the orders of their customers in a Zalora Philippines themed box. Its so cool, really. Anyway, the following things you will see are the unboxing of my first Zalora Philippines boxes and some pictures of mine wearing the stuffs I bought.

So that was my awesome Zalora Experience. I want to thank Zalora Philippines for a smooth transaction with you. I still want to shop for more and complete my wishlist. Anyway, thanks to the Php 250 vouchers I have received along with the official receipt. I wish to grab some stuffs from you again soon, not only just for me, but I will surely recommend it to my family and friends.
